Booking Policies
Minimum required to book: $500
A non-refundable $250 booking retainer is required to save the date.
The balance is due one week before the event date.
Payments can be made by cash, credit card (3% fee applied), Venmo (@kimmybigelow)
or checks can be mailed to Kim Tyson at PO Box 338 Big Oak Flat, Ca 95305.
A $50 fee will be applied for a date change and prices will be subject to price increases.
In the event of a service or event cancellation less than 1 week prior to the event 50% of the event total will be due.
In the event of a government mandated shut down you may reschedule with no penalties and your prices will remain the same. If your date can not be rescheduled you may be released from your contract. Booking retainers will not be refunded in either circumstance.
Any last minute schedule additions must be made at least 1 week prior to the event date.
Traveling Fees
Groveland & The HWY 120 Corridor to the Yosemite Entrance
Including Evergreen Lodge, Rush Creek Lodge & Lillaskog Lodge: $100 per stylist.
Yosemite Valley & Foresta: $125+ per stylist. Yosemite West & Tenaya Lodge: $150+ per stylist.
Sonora: $100 per stylist. HWY 108 Corridor: $150 per stylist.
Mammoth Lakes , June Lake & HWY 395 Corridor: $225 per stylist. Artist lodging required and paid for by the bride.
Artist Lodging Required When:
Travel in one direction is 3 hrs or more.
For sunrise weddings more than 60 min from 17390 CA-120 Big Oak Flat, CA 95305.
Note: All accommodations are to be funded by the wedding party.
Private artist quarters must be in the same location/lodge/hotel as the styling location.

Other Fees

Additional Stylist Fee: $100 per stylist.

Early Start Fee: $50 per hour per stylist for every hour before 8:00am.

Wet Hair Fee: A $50 fee will be applied if we have to blow dry the hair before styling unless it is pre planned as part of the style.

What To Expect On The Day Of...
Stylists will arrive 10 minutes before start time and set up our styling station in one location,
all participants will meet us there for appointments. I will need a table and an electrical outlet to plug my extension cord into. When weather permits, a relaxing outdoor space is highly recommended.
Help us stay on schedule by having each participant arrive on time with dry hair and clean skin.
Remind all participants to have inspiration photos ready to view.
Remember to wear a button down shirt or robe for styling.
One day unwashed hair is recommended in general. If your hair is fine or prone to becoming greasy you may prefer to wash and dry your hair the morning of the event.
Schedule a trail hair and makeup run with Kim for 1 month before your big day.
Trial runs take place at Blissful Beauty Salon and last 2-2.5 hours.

Inform other attendees to have inspiration pictures of their desired hair and/or makeup styles available for their stylist to view the day of.
I will email you an invoice one week prior to the event date for payment of any remaining balance.
